On the morning of 20 October, we will host a pre-conference workshop featuring an expert-led discussion on methods for assessing driver monitoring systems. The session will bring together specialists from different fields to share perspectives and real-world experience with quantitative evaluation approaches and metrics—including what works well in practice, where methods can fall short, and how to interpret results in a meaningful way. Expect an open, interactive exchange on the pros and cons of different assessment strategies, and the trade-offs they involve. Please note that places for the pre-conference workshop are limited. Participation requires a small additional fee, however attendance is free of charge for students.
