Presentation Format
Each oral presentation is allocated 20 minutes in total, including questions and discussion.
As a guideline, we recommend:
Please prepare your presentation accordingly and respect the allocated time to ensure that all speakers receive equal opportunities for presentation and discussion.
Presentation Upload
Presentation files must be uploaded no later than October 14, 2026.
Presentations should be submitted in PowerPoint (.pptx) format and prepared in 16:9 widescreen format.
To facilitate conference administration, please name your file according to the following convention:
Session number – Last name.pptx
For example:
1.1 Driver Monitoring I – Smith.pptx
If your presentation includes videos, we strongly recommend embedding them directly into the PowerPoint file whenever possible.
During the Session
Please arrive in your session room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session and introduce yourself to the session chair.
Each session will be moderated by a session chair who will introduce speakers, manage timing, and facilitate questions and discussion.
To help presenters keep track of time, a monitor will be available showing both the presentation and a timer.

Technical Information
Presentations will be run from the conference computer. Presenters will not be able to use their own laptops.
If you are presenting in the Pascal auditorium, please visit the technician before the start of your session to be fitted with a microphone.
If you are presenting in the Tesla auditorium, no microphone is required.
Conference Proceedings
Presentation files and accepted abstracts will be made available to conference participants through the online conference proceedings and the DDI 2026 website. If you do not want to have your presentation published on-line you need to send us an email (alexandra@mkon.se) clearly stating this and make sure you receive a confirmation of that email. The email must be sent before the conference starts.
Poster Pitch Session
Poster authors will be given the opportunity to briefly introduce their work during Poster Pitch Sessions. There are two pitch sessions with associated poster viewings scheduled on October 21st. View the program to see which session you are giving your pitch:
Each poster author will have 1.5 minutes to present their work. The purpose of the pitch session is to give delegates a brief introduction to your research and encourage discussion during the poster session.
The pitches will be oral only (i.e., without presentation slides from you). A simple title slide including the poster title and authors will be prepared by the conference organizers.
Poster Session
All posters will be displayed on-site throughout the conference.
There will be two poster viewing sessions, currently scheduled for Wednesday, October 21 from 10:20-11:00 and 15:00-15:50, providing an opportunity to discuss your work with conference delegates and fellow researchers. You should join the viewing session associated with your pitch, but it is preferable if you also could be present at your poster for the other poster viewing session.
Poster Format
Poster boards will be provided in A0 portrait format. Authors are responsible for printing and bringing their posters to the conference.
Poster Mounting
Posters may be mounted from 08:00 on Wednesday, October 21.
If you wish to keep your physical poster, you must take it down no later than 13:00 on Thursday (conference ends).
Digital Version of the Poster
Please submit a PDF version of your poster no later than October 12, 2026.
The PDF file will be made available to conference participants through the DDI 2026 website and included in the conference proceedings. If you do not wish to make your poster public, you can choose not to submit it digitally, but please then send an email informing us about that explicitly.
